The Parish Council meets nine times a year with one Annual Parish Meeting and an AGM.  Meetings are held on a monthly basis with the exception of August and December.  The meetings normally take place on the third Monday of the month commencing at 7.30pm at the Village hall, all of which are open to the public.

An agenda for each meeting can be viewed here or on the Village notice board four days prior to the meeting itself.

The Minutes of these meetings will reveal the range of issues dealt with by the Parish Council including planning, rights of way, flooding, our children’s play area as well as the general upkeep of the Village.

With regard to financial matters, the accounts are displayed on the Village notice board at a time indicated by the external auditors and this is normally in June/July.  Details of our finances can be viewed here.

In order to keep residents updated the Parish Council publishes a newsletter, “the Easterton Echoes”, which is now available electronically and is delivered to each household registered on the boomCast system on a monthly basis.  Details of the Echoes can be accessed here.
